Today is my Mom's birthday. I miss her. I hope she has a great day.
After finding out that my bread jumped up 2 pts. on the new WW program I was not to happy about this new Points Plus plan. I feel a little like they are pushing a low carb diet on me like the Atkin's diet which I hated and never did. But, the points for fruit, all fruit, is now 0. This is not like the Atkin's diet. You couldn't hardly have any fruit on that diet which is one of the reasons I wouldn't do it. That's just wrong. So, I see now that the new plan is trying to encourage better eating. Usually, you try to find reduced calorie items, that have very few points, to snack on but when fruit is free why choose anything else. A great idea. The new plan also is encouraging more protein which I have always felt I needed more of. I just love carb rich foods and it is hard not to eat so much.
