Went to the Opthamologist today. I had recently been to the eye doctor because I was having problem with my vision blurring when I turn my head to the left. He couldn't find anything wrong and had me do a visual field test. Awful test!!! I felt like I was playing the video game Space Invaders. The test showed I have a small blind spot in my left eye so he referred me to the Opthamologist. So, now the Optho. says nothing is wrong with my eyes except that when I look completely to the left or to the right my eyes wobble. That has nothing to do with my eyes but my brain function so I have to have an MRI. And I visual field retest - not again! And a visit with my regular doctor for a health assessment. Oh, and by the way, I have the beginning stages of macular degeneration in my left eye. No big deal. Argh! This day is turning out crappy.
I looked up my diagnosis, Nystagmus. It can be caused by a tumor or stroke but what caught my attention is the inner ear. So, could this be related to the minor vertigo I have been suffering for years? Could someone finally have a diagnosis for me other than benign positional vertigo?
Kara went to Viola's birthday party. A superhero theme. Yvonne is such a great party planner. She made a hero cap for everyone. Kara now has a red superhero cap with a princess tiara patch on it and a letter K sticker/badge that she wore on her chest. Super Kara!!! She had a great time.
